NASS Announces New Committee Co-Chairs

Washington, D.C. — The National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) is pleased to announce bipartisan NASS Committee Co-Chair appointments. Alongside the Executive Board, the standing Committees contribute to the association’s mission in relevant issue areas.

These public servants will fulfill an integral role within NASS leadership while also performing the vital duties and responsibilities in their respective states. I am honored to serve alongside these exemplary public servants,” said Michael Watson, NASS President and Mississippi Secretary of State.

NASS 2025-2026 Committee Co-Chair Appointments:

Business Services: Hon. Christi Jacobsen, Montana and Hon. Gregg Amore, Rhode Island

Elections: Hon. Steve Hobbs, Washington and Hon. Kris Warner, West Virginia

International Relations: Hon. Elaine Marshall, North Carolina and Hon. Deidre Henderson, Utah

Nominations and Credentials: Hon. Steve Hobbs, Washington (Chair)

Securities: Hon. William Galvin, Massachusetts and Hon. Denny Hoskins, Missouri

State Records and Archives: Hon. Charuni Patibanda-Sanchez, Delaware and Hon. David Scanlan, NewHampshire

Technology and Security: Hon. Steve Simon, Minnesota and Hon. Michael Watson, Mississippi

Co-Chairs will serve until the conclusion of the NASS 2026 Summer Conference.
