Longtime members agree that involvement is key to getting the most out of NASS membership. The NASS staff assigns members to the standing committees based upon each member's state office responsibilities (you may also volunteer to serve on non-jurisdictional committees, the Awards Committee, the Corporate Affiliate Advisory Committee and active association task forces). Volunteer to serve as a committee co-chair or a member of the NASS Executive Board by notifying the NASS President-elect of your interest in the position before the annual NASS summer conference. These activities will help you get to know your fellow NASS members and better understand the work of the association.
