NASS 2021-2022 Committee Co-Chairs & EIS-GCC Appointments

For Immediate Release — Sept. 22, 2021 — Washington, D.C. The National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) is pleased to announce new NASS Committee and Election Infrastructure Subsector Government Coordinating Council (EIS-GCC) appointments have been made.

“Each Secretary of State appointed brings their own unique talents, perspective and leadership experience. I’m thankful to them for agreeing to serve in these vital posts and I appreciate their contributions to the association,” said Kyle Ardoin, NASS President and Louisiana Secretary of State.

The 29 EIS-GCC members, of which 24 are state and local election officials, are continuously working to further improve communication across the sector, provide resources for members and support election infrastructure overall.Other members of the council include individuals from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the Election Center, the International Association of Government Officials, the National Association of State Election Directors (NASED), and the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC).
