NASS 2019-2020 Committee Co-Chairs & EIS-GCC Appointments

Washington, D.C. — The National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) is pleased to an­nounce new NASS Committee Co-Chairs and Election Infrastructure Subsector Government Coordinating Council (EIS-GCC) appointments have been made.

The 29 EIS-GCC members, of which 24 are state and local election officials, are working to im­prove threat information sharing and communications protocols, update an elections-sector spe­cific plan and find resources for state and local election officials.

Other members of the council include individuals from the Na­tional Association of State Elec­tion Directors, the Election Center, the International Association of Government Officials, De­partment of Homeland Security (DHS), and the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC).
