NASS Statement on S. 3268, the Closing Loopholes Against Money-Laundering Practices (CLAMP) Act

WASHINGTON, DC - On July 17, the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) approved the following statement:

“NASS is encouraged by the overall policy strategy presented by federal bill S. 3268 on the issue of beneficial ownership and members look forward to working with Congress on providing input on key details of the bill.

NASS encourages each Secretary to reach out to his/her state's congressional delegation and share our organization's white paper on our proactive position in helping with this important issue.”
