This policy pertains to the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) and its website: www.nass.org. NASS maintains this privacy policy to convey information on what we collect from users and how that information is used.
Collection of Personal Information
NASS collects the following information:
(a) Personally Identifiable Information. NASS only collects personally identifiable information when it is voluntarily provided using the NASS website.

Use of Personal Information

NASS routinely collects, compiles, and reports statistics and information reflecting the use of the NASS website in order to analyze and efficiently manage our site, enhance membership services, improve outreach and educational efforts, improve site content and layout, and enhance our online offerings. We offer links to state business and licensing offices as a service to registrants based upon voluntary subscription. NASS may send registrants association membership materials if they have opted to use this free service. NASS reserves the right to take any action the association deems prudent or necessary to safeguard the NASS website and information in NASS systems and databases from malicious or unwarranted attack by viruses or hackers.
