July 10, 2013
WASHINGTON, DC - Conference attendees can now keep track of meeting information on the go at the NASS 2013 Summer Conference in Alaska: A mobile conference app is now available at this LINK.
“I want to urge members to download the new NASS mobile app before they leave for Anchorage," said NASS President Ross Miller, Nevada Secretary of State. “It has some great features that will enhance the conference experience for attendees and give our valued sponsors and corporate affiliates yet another medium for connecting with the NASS audience.”
Free to download and available for Apple, Android and BlackBerry devices, the newly-launched NASS conference mobile app is designed to help conference goers make the jump from the laptop era to the age of tablets and smartphones. Features include meeting agenda and other event information, as well as a list of conference sponsors and vendor contact information.
The app also keeps attendees up-to-date with the integration of the NASS conference Twitter feed and email messaging systems. NASS can now provide breaking news and updates, along with detailed event information, via the app.
The NASS summer conference mobile app was developed by NIC Inc., the nation's leading provider of eGovernment services. The company has developed more than 150 government mobile apps, more than any other company in the world.
"NIC appreciates the importance of NASS and is proud to provide our expertise in developing government mobile apps for a great conference," said Ron Thornburgh, NIC Senior Vice President of Business Development and former NASS President. "The Secretaries of State have put together a great agenda and now everyone has all of the useful information at their fingertips."
