New Millennium Young Voters Project
The New Millennium Young Voters Project sprang to life in 1998, when NASS members commissioned a major research study of plummeting voter registration and turnout levels among young voters. The results of the study, one of the largest ever conducted at the time, were released in a 1999 report entitled, "New Millennium Generation: A Survey of Youth Attitudes Nationwide." The report explored young voter participation issues, including youth attitudes towards politics and civic engagement.
